Hi, I’m Tyler and…

I’ve always considered myself an empath. Listening, understanding, and learning have never been issues for me. People fascinate me. It’s for these reasons that I pursued an education in Psychology and Sociology—to better understand humans on an individual and societal level. Due to my strong background in psychological and clinical research, I realize the importance of recognizing the underlying problem. I aspire to merge my passion for others’ needs and my methodological training to develop an intuitive, research-driven user experience.

I am extremely curious; I work to discover and dissect. Although detail-oriented, I can still see the forest for the trees and deliver a narrative that is both comprehensive and convincing. I’m a facilitator. I pride myself on my collaborative nature. I’m versatile and consider myself a social chameleon, occupying the role that is most needed. I love to support and embolden those around me to bring out their best. Most importantly, I’m a growth-oriented individual, always looking to learn and improve.

On a more personal note, I am a Dominican-American from a family of seven. My interests include cooking, volleyball, video games, music, and truly getting to know others. If people were to describe me with one word, it’d be genuine. I’d consider myself a life-long learner, and always strive to become a more well-rounded person!
